Meet Winsome Nursery: Growing Something Special in Brisbane

Why "Winsome"?
Winsome means charming in a fresh, innocent, delightful way — and that's exactly what we think plants bring into a home. Not just greenery, but a little daily delight: the first flower bud, the first homegrown tomato, the quiet satisfaction of something thriving because you cared for it.
What we're building
Winsome Nursery is a new Brisbane-based nursery specialising in two things we love most:
Flowering plants that bring colour and life to subtropical gardens, patios and balconies — chosen not because they're trendy, but because they genuinely thrive in South-East Queensland conditions.
Vegetable seedlings for everyone who wants to eat something they grew themselves — from first-time growers with a single pot to established backyard vege patches.
Every plant we offer will be selected and grown with our local climate in mind. Brisbane isn't Melbourne or Sydney; our humidity, our mild winters and our summer storms call for plants (and advice) suited to here. That local focus is our promise.
How we do things
- Grown with care. We believe healthy roots make happy plants — our stock will be nurtured until it's genuinely ready for your garden, not rushed out the door.
- Advice included. Every plant comes with clear, practical care guidance written for South-East Queensland growers. No jargon, no guesswork.
- Honest and helpful. If a plant isn't right for your spot, we'll tell you — and help you find one that is.

What's coming
We're currently hand-selecting our opening range and getting every seedling settled and strong. Our online shop opens soon, with local delivery across Brisbane.
